Shadow of the Erdtree is one of the most anticipated DLC coming this year. With more than 20 million sales within a year after its release, Elden Ring was one of the most popular action RPGs in gaming history. Therefore, naturally, players have been curiously waiting for the upcoming DLC to check what FormSoftware is preparing for them. The official trailer of the game has given them a glimpse of the storyline that the developers are going to state this time, but still whether it will meet the expectations of the fans or not is unclear.

Elden Ring was not only the most popular game of 2022, but also has won multiple Game of the year awards for its incredible gameplay. As per the trailer, the world of Shadow of the Erdtree also has equally impressive graphics and the main boss of the game also looks formidable, just like the ones we have already encountered in the base game. Still, players need to wait for the game launch to ensure this.

2. Introduce Powerful Weapons

Weapons are the most vital part of an action RPG, especially like Elden Ring, where enemies are attacking from the beginning of the game. However, the game has numerous weapons to find throughout the journey and if you remember, most of them are incredible against powerful enemies. From Blasphemous Blade, to Moonveil katana, Sword of Night and Flame, Rivers of Blood, etc., will help you to take down even the most powerful bosses within minutes.

Players have been expecting the same weapon varieties from Shadow of the Erdtree. Therefore, FromSoftware must introduce different powerful weapons, a few legendary weapons to the DLC as well, so it can match the base story.

1. Exciting Boss Fights

Elden Ring fans will probably unanimously agree to this point that the most memorable thing about the game was its boss fights. From the beginning the game has bosses to fight and the entire gameplay has numerous bosses to take down, even though not all of them are mandatory bosses. However, all the boss encounters, including the mini-bosses were intense fights where the enemies had the abilities to take down players with a few hits. Some of the optional bosses like Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, Malenia, Goddess of Rot, etc., were the toughest ones to beat. But these boss fights took the game to a new height.
