Season 2 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 is almost knocking at the door. After the glaring success of Season 1, fans are all eagerly looking forward to getting Season 2, especially after the latest announcement of the COD team.
Recently, the Call of Duty team has officially released the updates coming in Season 2, and among them, the upcoming melee Perk has attracted the attention of all COD fans. This perk is not a newly introduced one, but it has made a return to the COD franchise after a long time, surprising players.
Activision is Revolutionizing Warzone with A New Perk
Perks are always been an integral part of COD battles and the Warzone also has tons of perks to equip and use to get unique effects. While players were trying to figure out what new things would come in Warzone Season 2, the recent tweet cleared all the doubts. This Season Warzone is getting the Ninja Vest Perk.
If you are a veteran player and have played titles like Black Ops and Black Ops Cold War, you may remember Ninja Vest Perk. However, this perk received a significant boost this season and making its return in Warzone Season 2.
About the effects of the perk, the Twitter post reveals, “Equip the Ninja Vest Perk to eliminate footstep sounds, become immune to movement reduction effects, and get bonus Shuriken and Throwing Knife ammo.” So, basically, this perk is the same as the Dead Silence perk that players have seen in the previous titles.
However, these two perks differ because Ninja Vest doesn’t only suppress the footsteps, but grants Shuriken and Throwing Knife for quick kills. Also, these two bonus items will regenerate every 25 seconds. To be precise, equipping Ninja Vest not only helps players move undetected but also gets stealth kills quickly.
Apart from that, on their website, the COD team has announced another exciting feature of this Ninja Vest Perk. They have declared, “If equipped with Covert Sneakers, gain the effect of Running Sneakers.” So, if you are someone who prefers sneaking, this perk is the best thing you can get this season.
Anyway, the equipping and unlocking process is still unknown. For that, you have to wait until February 7, 2024. However, Ninja Vest is not the only thing to return in Season 2.
Warzone Season 2 is Bringing Fortune’s Keep Back?
Remember the Fortune’s Keep map in Warzone? This map was introduced in 2022 and was removed after a short while on November 16, 2022. This second Resurgence map of the Call of Duty series didn’t get as much popularity as Rebirth Island, still, players loved it. So, after a long disappearance, the Fortune’s Keep is coming back with the launch of Season 2 on February 7, 2024. This map will again be part of their Resurgence Playlist.
On their official Twitter (now ‘X’) COD team has confirmed this news, giving players hope that they can again roam into their favorite map.
