The most anticipated Call of Duty update is almost there with a plethora of content for players to enjoy. Since Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 were released, players have been eagerly waiting for the Reloaded version to get new content and fix some of the most problematic issues.

So, after a short wait, finally, Activision has announced the launch date of the Reloaded version, which is March 6, 2024. However, this Reloaded update is coming with multiple exciting features to explore, including a few highly demanded features that made a return this time.

Warzone 2 Reloaded Has Added a Previous Fan-Favorite Equipment Years After Its Initial Introduction

Bringing back old features, weapons, and equipment is a general characteristic of Call of Duty updates. They introduce new features for sure but also bring back old features that once received popularity. The latest update of Warzone Season 2 Reloaded again proved this fact as this time the developers have re-introduced the fan-favorite Field Upgrade: The Portable Decontamination Station. After @WZStatsGG revealed this fact on Twitter, the official Call of Duty website confirmed this information with a detailed post explaining all the content added to the Warzone Season 2 Reloaded.

Veteran Warzone players are already familiar with The Portable Decontamination Station Field Upgrade. This equipment initially was introduced in Warzone Caldera. As the Twitter post says, “This device deploys a small bubble that protects you from the gas for a short amount of time!” In Warzone, players often encounter poisonous chemical gases that surround them and deal damage.

The only option to move through it is the Gas Mask, but now players can activate the PDS Field Upgrade and it will create a temporary safe zone inside the gas-infested location where players can move without any problem. After the timer ends, the safe zone will disappear.

Sources say that players can get the PDS Field Upgrade from the Buy Stations, loot caches, and or enemies they kill. While getting inside a gas-filled area, activate the PDS to make your exploration safe. However, there’s a twist. When the safe zone is created, not only you and your allies inside the safe zone become safe, but enemies who are in the safe zone will also be safe from the effect of the gas.

Warzone Season 2 Reloaded is Introducing a Unique Killstreak

Apart from the Field Upgrade, there are several more things that the Reloaded version of the game will bring. Among them what receives the most attention is the latest killstreak: Bunker Buster. This killstreak will probably make survival more challenging, especially in the final stages of a match.

Bunker Buster is a powerful killstreak that when activated, launches a missile that will explode multiple floors of a building, tearing up the enemies hiding inside it and shooting using snipers. Also, this killstreak leaves a column of gas in its wake. Squads often use the roofs of the buildings as covers to show their snipping skills. However, this killstreak will give them a hard time for sure. However, players need to be careful not to be on the opposite side of the killstreak attack.
