Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is one of the most anticipated mobile games of this year and players have been expecting a lot from this game. Since the game was announced to come on iOS and Android, COD mobile fans have been eagerly waiting for the game. After a long wait finally, the game will officially launch on March 21, 2024. However, before that once again this game has got involved in controversy where fans have been questioning their announcement of 120 players lobby. The game is supposed to have 120 real players in each lobby, but a recent video shows something different.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile Players Have Discovered Faults in One of the Most Attractive Claims The Developers Have Made

It is still a few days left before Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile officially launches. During their official announcement, Activision once stated that the game will have up to 120 real players in every lobby, but a recent gameplay video shows that the lobby has lots of bots. Recently, @AB_XYonYT shared a video that shows a clear kill of multiple bots back-to-back in a single game. Posting that clip, he asked, “Will warzone mobile lobbies actually host 120 real players?”

Bots are basically AI players and encountering them is an old custom of every Call of Duty game. Bots are used to fill lobbies. However, fighting bots are not thrilling as they can easily be taken down. But after the assurance of Activision about having 120 real players in each COD: Warzone Mobile lobby, players got happy that each enemy they will face in the game must have a real player controlling them.

After watching the clip, some heartbroken players have questioned whether the 120 real-player announcement was a marketing strategy. However, not everyone lost their faith in Activision. In the comment section, some players have claimed that the clip was from a custom match. In fact, some players have claimed that the game hasn’t yet been released globally. Therefore, the lobbies need bots to be filled for now. Once the game is out globally, there won’t be bots.

SUGGETSED: Fan Favourite Map Reported to be Remastered for Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War

For now, we can’t say whether it was a marketing strategy or whether the situation will be as promised after the global release. The probability is 50-50. So, players need to wait until March 21 to check the facts.

Call of Duty: Mobile Removed Alcatraz Days Before the Launch of Warzone Mobile

A piece of heartbreaking news for Call of Duty Mobile players arrived a few hours back on March 12, 2024. Amidst, the excitement of the launch of Warzone Mobile, @codmINTEL shared an update on Twitter that says one of the most fan-favorite maps Alcatraz was removed permanently from Call of Duty: Mobile, following the Season 3 update. Along with the map, the update has removed another map: Shoot House.

Players have not suppressed their disappointment about this decision as most of them think that this will ruin the Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale mode. However, the poster also raises a question that Warzone Mobile will bring Rebirth Island, and just before the release Alcatraz was removed. Whether these two are purely coincident or have a connection.

At this point, it is hard to tell whether these two decisions are part of some strategy or not as no official statement has arrived yet. Also, we are not sure whether this map will return to Call of Duty: Mobile in the future or not.
