Call of Duty again comes to the news with their latest Season 2 updates for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Since Season 2 of these two games has been announced, players have been excited about them, especially, the features this latest season is going to bring. After several exciting contents, the latest weekly challenges have taken things to a different height, as they unlock one of the latest aftermarket parts that come with the Season 2 update.

When Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 were launched, players already knew that a long list of aftermarket parts would come and the ways to unlock each of them were also widely known to all. However, the latest post revealed a new aftermarket part that was not on the list previously.

Call of Duty’s Latest Weekly Challenge Unlocks a New Aftermarket Part, Surprising Players

Within a week of the release of Season 2, Sledgehammer’s X post (formerly Twitter) revealed another exciting piece of equipment that the latest update is going to give to COD fans: JAK Limb Ripper. Initially, it was not on the aftermarket part list, but later it made its place to the list. If you go through the post, it says, “The JAK Limb Ripper is an underbarrel chainsaw that makes quick and messy work of anyone foolish enough to stand in your way.”

Jak Limb Ripper is an underbarrel chainsaw that players can equip and use to cut through enemies. So, this can be one of the most effective melee weapons you have in all Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone modes. Players can use it to chop through hordes of undead in the Zombies mode.

The Twitter post doesn’t specify the way to unlock it. They only reveal that this aftermarket part can only be acquired by completing the weekly challenges, which is pretty confusing for the players. Since the Season 2 update came only one week ago, at this point, players can only get week 1 and week 2 challenges to complete. To unlock the Jak Limb Ripper, players need to complete any five-week 2 challenges.  This is applicable for both MW3 and Warzone. Mostly these weekly challenges require players to get a required number of kills with a specific weapon.

Apart from the Jak Limb Ripper, the Season 2 update has brought multiple new content to the game.

Since Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone was announced, players have been eagerly waiting for the new content this update brings. Without disappointing fans, Season 2 has brought back the fan-favorite Fortune’s Keep, along with a few newly introduced 6v6 maps.

That’s not all. This season has introduced fresh weaponry for the players where they will get a few previously introduced weapons with two brand new guns. The first is the RAM-9, which is a fast-firing SMG and the next one is the newly introduced Assault Rifle, BP50. Apart from these, the Season 2 update has brought new Aftermarket parts, like JAK Burnout, JAK Tyrant 762Kit, JAK Backsaw Kit, JAK Maglift Kit, JAK Outlaw-277 Kit, and JAK Glassless Optic. Most of them can be acquired by completing Weekly missions.

The introduction of so many Aftermarket parts passively indicates that no matter the range of guns COD has, players still love lethal melee weapons.
