With its agents not knowing who to trust, the game features a branching, choice-based narrative for players to explore alongside a host of new innovations like the ability to plan your strategy from an evidence board before taking on a mission. The cooperative multiplayer Zombies mode makes a return with new maps being added for players to dive into.
Looking Back to Riskier Titles in the Franchise
An explosive trailer for the upcoming Black Ops sequel notwithstanding, some fans of the iconic franchise have taken to reexamining their opinions on other titles from the franchise released in the past.

Known for their attempts with futuristic, sci-fi settings that seemed more at home in franchises like Destiny, these games were widely panned upon their release, with players clamoring for a return to what the series did best. However, it seems that time has healed those wounds to some extent, with some fans bringing up fond memories of past titles.
Others were quick to agree, pointing out that those specific settings may have worked if they had not been released as Call of Duty titles.
