Blizzard Entertainment Showed Off the Trailer and Upcoming NPCs for Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred
Expansions bring tons of new content to games, and that’s what players expect. Therefore, whenever an expansion of their favorite game is announced, the hype is always high to get the best. Similarly, players have been expecting a lot from Diablo 4’s expansion, Vessel of Hatred.
Until now, the main curiosity has been centered on the upcoming co-op dungeon, the Dark Citadel. However, Blizzard’s latest trailer has shifted it to the newly revealed mercenaries. Almost at the end of Gamescom Day 1, Diablo 4 got an interesting trailer, showing off four upcoming mercenaries, namely, Raheir the Shieldbearer, Aldkin the Cursed Child, Varyana the Berserker Crone, and Subo the Bounty Hunter.
The trailer revealed that these four mercenaries are part of “The Pale Hand” group, and players can recruit them to battle bosses. Each of these four mercenaries has unique abilities: Raheir can use his shield to attack and defend, Aldkin can shapeshift to become a powerful demon, Varyana gets stronger with each kill, and finally, Subo can shower arrows on enemies from a distance.
These mercenaries can be unlocked through missions. But the exciting part is that the trailer has impressed Diablo fans.

The expectation is high for the upcoming expansion as well. Fortunately, the latest glimpses seem to have satisfied fans.
On Reddit, some players mentioned that these four mercenaries are looking good, at least better than Diablo 3.
A few of them are so extremely impressed with these mercenaries that they called them “glorious.”
Some players even expect to have talent trees for these four mercenaries to upgrade them.
However, exceptions are always there and a group of players are still not happy with the addition of mercenaries, as according to them, the game was fine without them.
