Ghost of Tsushima allows players to engage in numerous activities. Among them, players can compose Haikus during their journey. Haikus are a form of Japanese poetry with a 5-7-5 syllable structure. Thematically, Haikus reference metaphors from nature and talks about serious topics.

In Ghost of Tsushima, the Haikus must be composed at specific locations. Players will have to search for them on the island, and upon finding one, press the R2 button. Jin will sit down and compose a Haiku, as the game offers you some predetermined lines. After the release of Director’s Cut, Haikus have been included in the Iki Island expansion. Like on Tsushima, Jin will have to compose a Haiku by picking lines inspired by the landscape around him.

It lets players explore more Haiku locations and ways to reflect on Jin’s past. Players will be rewarded with the Well-Rounded Warrior trophy after finding all the locations.

What Are Haiku Locations in Ghost of Tsushima?

In the game, Haiku locations are places where players can go to reflect on Jin’s past or a part of his life. Jin spends some solitary moments in the lap of nature and dwells on the death and suffering that he has experienced. Jin can also think about the hope of a new life if he chooses not to dwell on death. Players will be provided with three options for each of the lines in the poem. The players will have to continue forward by choosing an option and composing a Haiku.

SUGGESTED: All Memory Locations in Ghost of Tsushima

The lines for a Haiku can be found by looking around yourself. Players must find all three of the lines for each section of the Haiku and pick one that they think is the best. The entire objective will have Jin reciting the lines chosen by the player, and once they are finished, the game will reward them with a new headband.
