While Fortnite is essentially a battle royale, the LEGO Fortnite is primarily a survival game where players must gather the resources and build their village. So, like every survival game, this game also features a few bosses to take down and Brute is one of the most popular among them. Standard Brute Location

Standard Brutes can generally be found in the Grasslands and the Shore biomes. They love to roam in open areas. So, you can either look for them on beaches or in the forest. Once you kill a regular Brute, you will get Brute Scales that you often need to craft items.
Frost Brute Location
The name itself says the location where you can find these Brutes. Of course, they won’t roam in the desert areas. So, you must look for Frost Brutes in the icy cold Frostlands biome. These locations are not safe to roam around because of the extremely cold temperature. You must be well prepared to survive the cold in LEGO Fortnite.
Once you reach the Frostland biome, these Frost Brutes are more common in the mountains than in other locations. Players can turn on Visualize Sound Effects from the Audio Settings to spot the Brutes from a distance. It will help them in their search. Once defeated, Frost Brutes drop Frost Brute Scales.
Sand Brute Location
Like the previous one, the Sand Brute already says its location. You need to go to the Dry Valley, precisely the desert section of the map to locate them. Just like the Frostland, Dry Valley is also unsafe for the players because of its extreme heat. If you are not enough careful, you will lose a chuck of your HP and die. So, ensure you are well-prepared to survive the extreme heat.
Once you are in the Dry Valley, enter Lava Caves as Sand Brutes often hide inside them. Fortunately, their orange color makes it easier to spot these creatures inside the cave. Once you defeat a Sand Brute, it will drop Sand Brute Scales.

How to Beat Brutes in LEGO Fortnite?
In LEGO Fortnite, players can get a range of weapons, and you must use them in proper time to tackle tricky situations. Brutes are one of the most troublesome enemies to fight in the game, so you can easily guess that bringing any weapon won’t work. Brutes have similar types of attacks. Regardless of the type you are fighting, you will see four general attacks.
First, generally, the fights begin with a normal strike where the Brutes launch a close-range attack by swinging their arms at the player. Next comes the Charged attack where the enemies will run towards you at full speed. The third attack is a ranged attack where the Brutes shoot an acidic projectile to deal massive damage to the players. Finally, the fourth attack is an AoE Stomp attack.

One thing you must not miss to ensure safety is the Shields. It will mostly ensure your defense. However, don’t come to the fight with a regular basic weapon. But if you have acquired the Brute Scale first without knowing what to do with it, let’s clear up all the confusion. The first thing you can do using the Brute Scale is to upgrade your Workbench from Rare to Epic. Additionally, you can craft different Charms and Totems.
Upgrading the Workbench is an essential thing that players must do after a point to unlock high-tier recipes. About the Charms and Totems, during the initial stages, you don’t need these items, but as you progress, you will eventually want to acquire powerful totems and charms that can be crafted using Brute Scales.
