Playing a hack-and-slash game mostly depends on the abilities and skills of the players, as combat is the central theme of these games. So, if you have been trying to be a pro-slayer in the latest PS-exclusive game Stellar Blade, you need to understand and upgrade the abilities of Eve to the highest. This game is heavily inspired by games like Devil May Cry. Therefore, combat is the key to progress in Stellar Blade, and naturally, ability upgrade is necessary. Beta Core is an ability upgrade item in the game.

Beta Cores can be found throughout the game from different in-game regions, and for now, players can get 15 Beta Cores scattered throughout Eidos 7, Wasteland, Great Desert, and Matrix 11. However, the acquisition process is not easy. So, if you get stuck while trying to collect the Beta Cores, don’t worry; we will help you find them all.

What Is Beta Core in Stellar Blade?

Apart from fighting enemies and completing missions, Stellar Blade features a massive world to explore and find collectibles. Beta Cores and Body Cores are among them. Both are equally important in the game, and collecting three of them (any one type) will grant Eve special abilities. However, here we will specifically talk about the Beta Cores.

Beta Cores are required to increase the number of Beta skill nodes you will receive in battle to perform various actions. Though most skills require two nods, having multiple of them will still help players perform hack, slash, dodge, and parry smoothly during battles. Therefore, collecting Beta Cores is one of the necessary activities in the game, especially during higher levels and difficulties.

They are scattered here and there throughout the world, making it hard for players to spot them without knowing their exact locations. So, the next section of the guide will tell you the exact Beta Core locations in Stellar Blade.

Stellar Blade: All Beta Core Locations

Before we start with the Beta Core locations, players need to be sure of what they are looking for. Without any knowledge of what they are looking for, it is hard to look for the item. So, when you are searching for Beta Cores, you need to locate the corpses of your dead comrades. Each region of the game has a few of these corpses at different locations, and we will discuss them based on region.

Eidos 7

Eidos 7 Beta Core Location

Let’s start with the earliest region of the game, Eidos 7. In this area, players will get five Beta Cores to collect. Below, we have discussed their locations:

  • The first one will be found at the end of Silent Street. The corpse will be found near a post.
  • The second one will be found after players reach the Flooded Commercial Plaza. Once you appear there, start moving toward the opposite end of the street. The Beta Core will be found on the exterior of the station.
  • The third one will be found after players solve the Clock Tower puzzle and reach the next location. Look for indentations to hang and reach the left side. On the top, you will find the body with the Beta Core.
  • Fight the Corrupter Naytiba, and once you take it down, you will find the Beta Core inside the restaurant.
  • The fifth and last one will be found as you go down the sewer facility. Once you get past the gap, you will find a slope to go down. The Beta Core will be down there.

Matrix 11

This location has four Beta Cores to find. We have discussed their locations below:

  • Start with the Crumbling Bridge. Go to the top of the Crumbling Bridge, and you will find a corpse inside the train with the Beta Core.
  • The second one is to be found in the area where the floodgate is opened. Go to the other side of the location after the water level increases to find the body and the Beta Core.
  • The third one should be found in the Rotten Labyrinth. Once you are there, you will locate a small room that can only be accessed through a tunnel. The corpse will be found there.
  • The last one will be found after taking down the Hive Naytiba. The Beta Core will be found at the end of the sewer tunnel’s circular path.

Wasteland

Wasteland has three Beta Cores to find as you explore the region. Check the below locations to avoid getting confused:

  • The first one will be found in the Villa. However, the location is tricky, as scrap metal and ruined materials almost cover it.
  • The next one will be found in the abandoned apartment complex on the east side of the Wasteland
  • The final one will be found on the cliffs on the southwest side of the zone. You will find branches hanging from the cliff. Use them to reach the top of the cliff and get the Beta Cores.

Great Desert

The final zone we are going to talk about is the Great Desert. While exploring this area, players again find three Beta Cores.

SUGGESTED: All Exospine Locations in Stellar Blade

Go through the below locations to find them easily:

  • Once you reach the Great Desert, you will spot yellow-painted indentations. Shoot them, and they will create a rope to climb and reach the crate.
  • For the next one, go to the Buried Ruins and search the location, as the Beta Core will be found inside a destroyed structure.
  • This is the only Beta Core that you can get in a different way. To acquire this, players need to complete the Fallen Angel side quest. Go to the southeastern part of the Great Desert, and you will find an NPC who gives you the side quest. Once you complete the mission, you will receive the Beta Core.

These are the Beta Cores that players can find in Stellar Blade. None of these Beta Cores are easily found at a prominent location. So, there’s a high chance of missing them if players are not careful. We hope this guide will help you find them smoothly and without much trouble.
