Ghost of Tsushima has numerous activities to complete, and especially throughout the journey, players will find uncountable collectibles to use accordingly, based on the requirements. These collectibles include armor and charms. Side activities are one of the primary ways to unlock different defensive abilities and items, and the archery challenges are among them. They are challenging, but these activities are enjoyable.

In Ghost of Tsushima, players become samurai, fighting against Mongols. Therefore, fighting is inevitable in the game, and charms are required to survive these fights. One of these charms is named the Charm of Concentration, which can only be found by completing the archery challenges. With this, players must have understood the reason behind completing the archery challenges, and here we are going to give you their locations.

Ghost of Tsushima: All Archery Challenge Locations

Playing as a samurai without a bow and arrows is impossible. So, no matter what other weapons Jin uses in the game, he is essentially an archer, and these archery challenges are critical tests of his archery skills. Throughout Iki Island, players will find 8 locations to complete these challenges, and we have discussed all the locations below:

East of Lone Spirit Falls Archery Challenge

The next one should be the one located next to the point where you initially arrive after reaching Iki Island. So, technically, this one should be your first archery challenge to complete. The location is easy to spot. Once you arrive, start looking for Lone Spirit Falls. The challenge is located on its east side.

If you are still confused about the location or have progressed further from the falls, you should try to find the Sly Hunter’s Forest. Check the location on the map, and from there, start moving towards the southwest side to find the challenge.

Yahata Forest Archery Challenge

This challenge will be found after players reach the Yahata Forest in the game. This location should be found on the eastern side of the island. Start your journey towards the east, and eventually, you will reach your destination.

Now that you have reached the Yahata Forest, start traveling toward the south section of the location to find the archery challenge.

Zasho River Archery Challenge

Aiming is the key to these challenges in Ghosts of Tsushima

As the name says, this challenge will be found at the Zasho River. The confusion includes how to reach the location. Well, that’s easy, as this challenge can be found on the west side of the Yahata Forest, where you have probably completed your previous archery challenge. So, locating this challenge won’t be tough.

However, if you are among the players who haven’t yet completed the Yahata Forest challenge and aren’t near the location, you should travel to Senjo Gorge, and from there, travel to the north side to locate the river and the challenge.

Senjo Gorge Archery Challenge

This one will be found in Senjo Gorge, but before that, players need to know the location of Senjo Gorge. Once you have reached the Forest Cloud Temple, it is time to start moving towards the southwest of the temple. Eventually, this path will take players to the Senjo Gorge. Players will understand they have reached their destination once the valley of purple flowers unfolds in front of them. The challenge is located there.

Raider’s Promontory Archery Challenge

Jin must take down these lanterns as fast as possible to earn trophies.

This is one of the first locations players can travel to after they have arrived at Iki Island. After you have arrived on the island, make your way to the farthest north side of the island to locate the first archery challenge. As you reach the northmost part of the map, cross a small water area to reach Raider’s Promontory. The first challenge is there to be completed.

If you are finding it challenging to reach the location, don’t forget to use your grappling hook to climb over to the challenge area.

Kidafure Battlefield Archery Challenge

The Archery Challenge is a test of Jin’s aiming capability.

This location is a bit challenging to locate, but not impossible to find. Precisely, players will find the Kidafure Battlefield on the western part of Iki Island and the southwest section of Old Gambler’s Wood. As you arrive near your destination, you will find moss-covered, decayed houses. That’s where the challenge is waiting for Jin.

Northwest of Saruiwa Archery Challenge

To find this challenge, players need to start traveling towards the south of the island, following the western shore. Eventually, this journey will take them to Sarubashi. From this location, start moving towards the southwest section to reach the challenge.

Raider Memorial Archery Challenge

This is most probably the final archery challenge players will get in the game, and this one is located in the southernmost part of Iki Island. Players will reach this one after they have completed certain activities. Raider Memorial is made to pay tribute to the raiders who died at the hands of Tadayori Nagao. So, Tadayori armor will play a role in this challenge.

First, players need to don the Tadayori armor, and then they have to talk to the raider at the gravesite. He will arrange the archery challenge for Jin.

These are the locations of the archery challenges throughout Iki Island, but that’s not enough to complete these challenges. Players need to know the process to beat these tests.

How to Complete the Archery Challenges in Ghost of Tsushima?

Archery Challenges should be completed within a fixed time in Ghost of Tsushima

Side activities are generally not something tough in Ghost of Tsushima, but the archery challenges are different. These mini-games will test the archery skills of players, especially their speed. In these challenges, players are given seven paper lanterns to shoot with their bow and arrow within a set time limit. The maximum time you can take is 22 seconds, and based on your timing, you will earn trophies.

  • For the bronze trophy, the challenge should be completed between 15 and 22 seconds.
  • Next is the silver trophy, which can be achieved if the challenge can be completed within 7 to 15 seconds.
  • The final trophy is the gold trophy, which players will get if they complete the challenge in less than 7 seconds.

The gold trophy is almost impossible to achieve, but up to silver trophies, players can easily get them. We recommend starting shooting the farthest lantern, as it will take more time than the ones placed close. For more stability, equip Tadayori’s armor to increase concentration.

That’s everything players need to know about the locations of the archery challenges in Ghost of Tsushima. Along with this, players may get confused about the locations of the Haikus and Shinto Shrines in the game. Go through our guides for the required information about them.
