Best Strategy to Complete Closing Time Mission in MW3 Zombies

The more you progress through the game and unlock new tiers, the more challenging missions will come. The Closing Time mission is one of those missions that can’t be completed without proper planning and strategy. So, we recommend not to randomly jump into the mission. This mission must be done inside the Aether Storm, a location where zombies spawn and attack from everywhere. So, you must be prepared before you start it.

Once you are determined to complete this mission, have at least a tier 3 pack-a-punch weapon and lots of Self-Revive kit. It is better if you have Wunderwaffe DG-2. Among the perks, it is better to have Juggernog, Speed Cola, and Quick Revive. Also, a squad of at least 4 players. It’s not that the mission is impossible for solo players, but having some teammates will be your biggest advantage inside Aether Storm.

Now that you are prepared, locate the Aether Storm on your tac-map. Aether Storm will be marked with purple circles and can be spawned randomly anywhere on the map. Generally, you will locate the storm in the low or the medium threat zones. If the storm is in the low-threat zone, tier 2 zombies will spawn inside. But if the storm is in the medium threat zone, the zombies will be tier 3. However, there’s no way to avoid entering the storm if you want to complete the mission.

As soon as you enter the storm, the first objective is done. Next, you must kill 50 zombies and the Stormcaller. While the former is not a problematic thing, finding the Stormcaller is challenging. You must search the entire circle to locate the Stormcaller. If you locate it, that’s okay, but if you fail to locate it, someone must have taken it down before you and Stormcaller spawn only once per match. So, you have no option but to come back in the next match.

You can simultaneously kill the zombies while searching for the Stormcaller and fighting it. But one thing you must remember is that staying inside the Aether Storm for a long time will affect your health. In that case, come out after some time, take some breath, and again go inside. Note that, if you kill zombies from outside the storm, they won’t count. That’s the same with Stormcaller. You can lure the boss to the edge of the Aether Storm and shoot it from outside, but the final shots must be delivered while staying inside the Aether Storm. Otherwise, even if you kill the enemy, it won’t count.

Stormcaller is a tough enemy who can give you a hard time defeating it. Inside the storm, the visibility significantly reduces and makes it another step harder to deal with the boss. Therefore, staying inside the Aether Storm throughout the fight is not a wise idea. Another thing to keep in mind is that the boss drains players’ health and revives himself if you get too close. So, keep a safe distance, and no matter what, don’t stop shooting the enemy. Once you have killed 50 zombies and the Stormcaller, the mission is done and that’s the time for exfil. Locate the nearest exit point and survive until the chopper arrives. Once you board the chopper and leave the session, this mission is done and players can now get the rewards.
