How to Complete Where’s Dr. Jansen Act 1, Tier 6 Mission in MW3 Zombies

Modern Warfare 3 is full of activities. Fighting the zombies, killing the mercenaries, eliminating the bosses, and completing missions. Though all these activities are equally important to progress, they are all part of the story missions that players must go through to understand the story and explore different parts of it. But most of these missions require a little guidance to be done. So, if you are trying to complete the Dr. Jansen tier 6 mission in MW3 Zombies, this guide will give you a detailed walkthrough.

Just like the DMZ mode, the MW3 Zombies also introduced missions divided into different acts and tiers. Each of these acts unfolds an unknown part of the story and completing the missions is the only way to reach the climax of the act. Similarly, Where’s Dr. Jansen is the introductory part of the final mission of Act 1. So, you must complete it to reach Act 2. Before going to the detailed process, check the mission objectives.

Where’s Dr. Jansen Mission Objectives

If you are not sure who is Dr. Jansen, let me explain, she is the one who helped Victor Zakhaev get the Aether Pieces. But now she got the point that she made a mistake. So, now players must locate Dr. Jansen. However, this mission won’t let you do that and you have to wait a little more to complete the Extraction mission, the ultimate mission of Act 1 to find Dr. Jansen and bring her for questioning.

Where’s Dr. Jansen mission has three objectives:

Complete an Outlast contract.
Obtain Dr. Jansen’s Tablet.
Exfil.

These objectives are not challenging. If you are a veteran player, these are some of the easiest things for you. But as a newcomer, if you are unsure of the exact way, you can’t progress further. So, without wasting time, let’s check how to complete the tier 6 mission of Act 1.

Fastest Way to Complete Where’s Dr. Jansen Mission in MW3 Zombies

The first objective requires you to complete an Outlast Contract. So, once you accept the mission, open your tac-map to check the Outlast mission. Outlast missions are marked with a satellite icon on the map. For further reference, check the above map. Reach the location and accept the contract. It’s better to look for the contract in a low-threat zone. These are the safest areas to complete contracts. Anyway, if you fail to locate any Outlast Contract in the low-threat areas, you can go for the orange-marked zones.

Once you accept the contract, the location of a PND device will be marked on your map. Go to the location and you will find the device. Activate it and as soon as you activate the device, you will see a bar on the left side of your screen started to be filled. It will take some time, but players must stay alive until the bar reaches 100. It will take some time. Precisely, the game will again take a test of your survival skills.

Of course, the survival process won’t be an easy one as players must fight tons of zombies in the meantime. If you find it hard to fight the zombies while staying on the ground floor, climb up the ladder and go to the platform above. Stay at a corner and start shooting zombies. But don’t get killed. Otherwise, you have to start the mission once again.

After you survive a few minutes, the bar will reach 100 and the contract will be completed. Immediately, Dr. Jansen’s Tablet will be dropped somewhere in the room. You will get an alert on the left side of your screen telling you about the drop. Remember, the tablet won’t stay forever. If you don’t pick it up fast, it will disappear. So, climb down and look for the tablet. A reward rift will also appear, but we suggest focusing on the table first, and then you can explore the reward rift.

Once you are done with the first two objectives, it is time to complete the final one. You must exfil with the tablet to locate Dr. Jansen in future quests. If you fail to extract the tablet, you will miss the next mission, Extraction. So, mark the closest exfil location and travel there. Fortunately, the Zombies in the exfil areas are less strong than others. But they come like waves. So, be careful and survive until the helicopter appears. Once you leave the session, your mission is done and you can now get the rewards.

What are Where’s Dr. Jansen Mission Rewards?

Rewards are one of the chief attractions of a mission. Of course, the excitement matters, but not more than exciting rewards. So, all the missions in MW3 Zombies provide players with exciting rewards and the Act1 Tier 6 mission is not an exception. Once you successfully exfil, you will get the below rewards:

Ride And Die Calling Card
3000 XP

Calling Cards are indeed a substantial reward, but can’t compete with XP. These are the best rewards that players often look for to level up their operators or weapons to unlock new perks and equipment. If you are trying to level up your operator, missions like Where’s Dr. Jansen are the best way to acquire some. Both these rewards will be added instantly. While the Calling Card will be added to your inventory, you will get the XP and your Operator will level up.

This mission can be done solo, but if you are not an experienced player, it’s better to have at least one friend. It is always better to have a companion. They not only help you survive but complete missions faster. Additionally, avoid having ARs or snipers for this mission. We recommend bringing SMG or LMG to shoot without any trouble of reloading. Also, it is better to have your weapon Pack-A-Punch. Don’t hurry, be aware of your surroundings. Keep in mind death will be fatal. All your efforts will be wasted if you die.
