Call of Duty Puts Bill Clinton, Saddam Hussein, and More in the New Black Ops 6 Trailer, Will Launch Day One on Xbox Game Pass
Notable personalities from the Gulf War era make appearances.
The reveals for the upcoming Call of Duty are in full swing as Treyarch gears up to launch the next entry in the Black Ops sub-series. Before the game received its title, it was rumored to be called Gulf War, and even though the name’s changed, it’ll still focus on the armed conflict between Iraq and the countries that were against it during the era.
So it wouldn’t have made sense if Black Ops 6 didn’t include some of the notable personalities that played key roles during the Gulf War.
The Next Call of Duty Gets a Dark Live-Action Trailer
After some fans spotted the first teaser for the next Call of Duty, the developers realized that it was too late to keep it a secret and have started to reveal more footage. The marketing continues as Black Ops 6 has received a dark trailer that puts some of the major figures who took part in the Gulf War into the spotlight. It kicks off with Bill Clinton revealing that there have been some huge lies told, and it’s time to uncover the truth.
That’s followed by an appearance by Colin Powell, who reveals that it was important to show that the war’s ended so that the people could have some peace, but the armed conflict was never resolved and it kept going in the shadows.
Margaret Thatcher is also seen being interviewed, as she says that these powerful individuals have had to “hide the world’s secrets” so that the public doesn’t know what happens behind the curtains. The leading man from the United States side, George Bush, also gets featured in the Black Ops 6 trailer, stating that while the ones in power try to distract the world from crucial issues, everything falls apart and “nothing is what it seems.”
The former Iraqi Prime Minister, who was the opposing force, concludes the footage by advising people to “look in the dark” if they want to learn about the truth.
An Iconic Black Ops Pose and a Day One Addition on Game Pass
Aside from the notable personalities featured in the Black Ops 6 trailer, the standout aspect’s something that fans of the original title will appreciate, as it brings back an iconic pose that was first shown on the cover art of the first Black Ops.

The only other installment to feature the pose was Black Ops 3, so this could be an indication that the franchise might go back to its roots with the upcoming entry.
More details about the game will be revealed on June 9, but until then, Game Pass subscribers will be happy to hear that the next Call of Duty will make its way to the subscription service on Day One.
With the launch of the next Black Ops on Game Pass, it could pave the way for more Call of Duty titles to be added to the service as well.
