Some Love It and Others Hate It as Stellar Blade’s Most Divisive Section Becomes the Center of Discussion
The Desert fits the post-apocalyptic world perfectly.
Leading up to its launch, Stellar Blade was surrounded by controversies, but ever since Shift Up released the action-adventure title, it didn’t take long for players to move past the controversial elements and discuss what the game has to offer. Where the narrative aspects may have fallen a bit short, especially for a Sony game, the developers put extra effort into creating a world that feels devastating but expansive simultaneously.
The in-game universe is divided into various sections, similar to how other titles handle their locations, but there’s one particular section in Stellar Blade that’s dividing the fanbase.
Some Fans Love Everything That One Stellar Blade Section Has to Offer
Set in an open world, it’s not surprising that Stellar Blade has no shortage of immersive locations that players can explore and find hidden details about the lore that Shift Up has introduced.
SUGGESTED: All Eidos 7 Can Locations in Stellar Blade
Ranging from Eidos 7 and Matrix 11 to a post-apocalyptic Wasteland and Spire 4, these sections come with their own unique elements to differentiate them from one another, but the Great Desert is proving to be a highlight among the community.
Calling it the “most fun” section in the game, a player pointed out how everything that the Great Desert offers makes for amazing level design that keeps things fresh as soon as gamers step into the sandy landscape.
The Great Desert includes some elements that are not found in any other section of Stellar Blade, including a dangerous quicksand deathtrap that players should most definitely avoid if they want their journey to seamlessly continue. In addition to that, the location lets players parkour on top of rooftops with the danger of death always looming because once they fall to the ground, it is game over.
That is not all that can kill Stellar Blade players in this area, as there are also lasers that can devour them in a second, along with even more distinct aspects that truly make it an exciting section to get through.
Others Think That the Great Desert Can Get a Bit Annoying to Explore
While there is a lot to love about the Great Desert section in Stellar Blade, some members of the community are not particularly fond of it, as exploration becomes quite the hassle when endless enemies start attacking Eve as she is looking for essential collectibles, especially in the area’s ruins.
SUGGESTED: How to Access The Secret Garden in Stellar Blade (Eidos 9)
Another major complaint is that players have to do a couple of runs through the section due to the unavailability of some side quests until much later in the game.
While many players appreciate everything that there is to do in the Great Desert, like finding the Camps in the area, others are pointing out that the Wasteland section is a way better location.
Regardless, the varied opinions about the best sections in Stellar Blade are testament to the amazing in-game world that Shift Up has created, with each area feeling like it comes with distinct personality traits.
