How to Access The Secret Garden in Stellar Blade (Eidos 9)
Stellar Blade has mysteries to unlock in Eidos 9.
Stellar Blade doesn’t have any shortage of activities, especially if you include the side quests. Despite these side missions making the game lengthier, without them, Eve is going to miss some exciting experiences and even some required abilities. Anyway, the Secret Garden isn’t a side mission; instead, it’s an optional main mission in the game, which should be completed in a secret area, Eidos 9.
Eidos 9 is one of the latter game areas with a complicated process to access. However, this area is going to present Eve with some mysteries to solve and collectibles to gather. Among them is an interesting optional activity called the Secret Garden. If you haven’t yet completed it, don’t worry. In this guide, we’re going to provide you with a detailed walkthrough.
How to Access The Secret Garden in Stellar Blade (Eidos 9)
In Stellar Blade, Eidos 9 is one of the secret areas that can only be accessed when a few criteria are met. Though this area has thrilling fights and rewards to offer, the unlocking process is tricky, and if players can’t fulfill the conditions, they are going to miss it completely. So, let’s carefully know the process to unlock the region.
From the beginning of your journey, you must notice a bar on the top right side of the screen with an icon that seems like Lily’s head. This is the Discovery Bar, which will be filled up gradually as players start learning about the story and the in-game world. As Eve progresses through the game, completes missions and side quests, fights bosses, reads documents, and interacts with NPCs, you will find the bar is getting filled up. To unlock Eidos 9, this bar should be at 100%.
SUGGESTED: Best Defense Build in Stellar Blade
This bar can’t be checked anywhere else. It can only be found as players explore the game and increase their discoveries. Initially, this bar is not something you should worry about, but as you progress, you must pay attention, especially before you reach the Orcal’s Testimony mission. Once you begin this mission and talk to Adam, you will eventually be taken to the Orbit Elevator, and from there, the next mission will be assigned, named Eye of the Hurricane.
Avoid completing the Orcal’s Testimony mission, and while interacting with Adam, inform him that you need more time. Use this time to complete more side missions, interact with NPCs, and explore the hidden documents that you have missed previously. That’s necessary because if you complete this mission and get the next mission without having 100% completion of the discovery bar, you have to wait for a new playthrough to unlock Eidos 9.
Once you have completed 100% of the bar following this method, the icon will start shining, and Lily will ask Eve to go to Eidos 9. There won’t be any other notification that you have met the criteria. Accept the offer, and you will teleport to Eidos 9, getting the Secret Garden mission instead of the Eye of the Hurricane mission. These two missions will take players to two different endings of the game.
Walkthrough of The Secret Garden Mission in Stellar Blade
Once you are in Eidos 9 and exploring the region through the Secret Garden mission, the first activity is to complete Sector 1. This is the very first area players reach after starting the mission, where they will find Cocoons shooting at them. Adam instructs Eve to clear the area by killing these enemies. Use the offensive skills of Eve to destroy these enemies and continue their journey to the next building.
The area has a total of three Cocoons to destroy, along with a few hidden enemies. All three Cocoons can be found in three different locations. Search for them, and once you get rid of these Naytibas, it is time to explore Sector 2. This is a more challenging sector to survive with narrow bridges, rooftops, and submerged areas. Make sure to rest at a Supply Camp before going forward.
Again, start defeating the Cocoons and progress through the road until you find a narrow bridge. Run through the bridge to reach the warehouse on the opposite side of the bridge. Use the rooftops of these buildings to reach the building with the Carwash banner. Use the stairs on the right-hand side and pass through a parking lot to ultimately locate another Cocoon on the rooftop of a building.
SUGGESTED: All Altess Levoire Camp Locations in Stellar Blade
Make your way to the next building. Use the gate to reach the building and kill the Cocoon there. The last one will be found once you follow the narrow bridge. Once all the Cocoons are cleared in Sector 2, the next area to visit is the Submerged City. Keep following the narrow bridges, and eventually, they will take players to red tracks. These tracks will lead Eve and the team to Submerged City.
Now, players may get confused about the purpose of visiting the Submerged City. Well, that’s because this is home to the optional bosses named Corrupter and Dozer. These two bosses need to be fought at the same time, and the fight is not going to be easy at all. Anyway, if you want to skip, there’s no harm in ignoring them, except for missing 2x Omnibolts and Weapon Cores.
Finally, follow the red tracks back to the parking lot and take down the remaining cocoons. Once done, it is time to visit Lily’s Secret Garden, which will be accessed by following the track on the left side. Once you complete the mission, you will receive The Motivation Exterior, The Double-Edged Gear, The Burst Recovery Gear, The Combat Continuation Gear, and Drone Upgrade Modules as rewards.
That’s everything players need to know about how to access the Secret Garden mission in Stellar Blade and complete it. The process is tricky, and without proper knowledge, players will most probably miss it during their first playthrough.
Anyway, as you are reaching the end of the game, you need some help to fight the final bosses, like Raven and Adam. Don’t worry if you are struggling to beat them. Follow the strategies we have suggested to make these fights quick ones to be finished.
