Good news for Helldivers 2 fans as the developers drop a massive update.
Helldivers 2 has been all over the news for the last couple of weeks. The game which has been a hit with fans since its release has been facing a lot of criticism recently. Fans have been heavily criticizing Sony’s decision to make the linking of Steam and PlayStation Network (PSN) accounts mandatory.
Developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Helldivers 2 is currently being played by millions of players worldwide.
Developers Have Confirmed That PSN Won’t Be Required
The game has sold millions of copies in many countries across the globe but around 180 countries are unable to play the game due to this new rule mandated by the game’s publisher Sony.

The first major controversy surrounding Helldivers 2 was when Sony announced that all PC users would be required to link a PSN account to Steam to keep playing the game. The publishers have eventually reversed this decision following community backlash. Still, players in 180 countries cannot access the game and have taken to X to share the game’s current status in their regions.
