Strong boss fights are one of the solid attraction points for players in every game. From RPGs to action-adventure, the thrill comes from strong opponents. Considering this fact almost every COD season brings new bosses that challenge the skills and strategy of players. After Scavenger, Pyro, and Bullfrog, MW3 Zombies has introduced Mega Abomination to keep the trend going. The name says it all about the boss.

This is the hardest enemy to face in MW3 Zombies and at some point, players may find him impossible to defeat. But that’s not the case. Where to Find Mega Abominations in MW3 Zombies?

If you love challenges but haven’t yet encountered a Mega Abomination or the Megabomb, let me tell you the location of the enemy. If you open the tac-map after landing on Urzikstan, you will notice the three threat zones marked clearly on it. The boss you’re looking for can be found at the south edge of the red zone. This may not clear the doubt as it is not the exact location. So, let me tell you, once you go to the south side of the high-threat zone, you will eventually see two bridges over the river. The Megabomb will be found roaming around the opposite side of the bridge on the other bank.

Sometimes, the boss doesn’t spawn in this area. In that case, look for it on the northeast bridge that leads to the high-threat zone. Initially, the Mega Abomination’s massive health and its spawn location made it impossible to defeat it. Instead, it seems like welcoming a player’s death, but that’s not it. This enemy also has weaknesses and players can use them to defeat it.

How to Prepare for The Fight?

This fight will require you to be well-prepared with a few necessary items in your stock. The first thing you must take is powerful weapons. It will be best if you have Wonder Weapons in your inventory, especially Ray Gun. If not, try to take the highest upgraded weapons, we recommend level 2 Pack-A-Puch weapon. Better if you bring an LMG or SMG that won’t need frequent reloading and equip the best perks you have. Apart from that, another thing that one must have to get before the fight is, a Juggernaut Suit. It will be the most convenient way to beat the creature.

To get a Juggernaut Suit, players must gather 10,000 Essence. The amount is not easy to get right? Don’t worry, complete contracts and try to destroy a few Harvester Orbs to get Essence. Once you have enough Essence, you can purchase the suit. Though Juggernaut Suit can’t be a thing that can help you defeat the boss, it will help you survive longer and execute your plans.

Apart from that, players can also buy or craft Perk-A-Colas. That’s only possible if you have the schematic unlocked. Next, bring enough ammo, Jugger Nog, Speed Cola, and Deadshot Daiquiri to make the process smooth and increase your survival chance.

Once you jump into the battle, the first thing you should be aware of is the zombies. In the high-threat zone, the zombies will be level 3 enemies who are hard to deal with. To make things easier, drag the boss outside the high-threat zone. It will make things a lot easier as the zombies will not be tier 3 enemies anymore. Next, when you are attacking the boss, it is better not to do it alone. If you become the center of focus, it will be hard to survive the attacks of the Megabomb. Instead, try to attack the boss from different sides to confuse it.

The boss will fight until its last breath. It has a few deadly attacks that can bring your untimely end faster. So, before you start attacking, ensure your safety by watching out for the deadly boss attacks. It has a charge attack and shoots an electric beam from its mouth. If you fail to lure it out of its location, these attacks are hard to avoid. But if you successfully take it out to the medium threat zone, you can avoid these attacks by taking shelter in the nearby buildings. Furthermore, make sure you are constantly moving. Constant movements will help you avoid attacks. Also, divert the boss’ attention with your squadmates attacking it from other sides.

Now, if you are randomly shooting the boss, it only wastes your ammo. The boss has a large health pool that already makes it a formidable enemy to take down. If you waste ammo, you are only inviting your death. Mega Abomination’s glowing mouth is the weak point that players should target. So, from the beginning, try shooting its mouth to deal the highest damage. To deal some extra damage, equip Napalm Ammo Mod. It will deal extra damage over time. The process will take time and probably a few tries, but if you use the proper strategy, the boss is not unbeatable. For solo players, this process will be a lot trickier but not impossible.
