How to Unlock Ghost of Tsushima’s Toughest Trophy
Sly Cooper managed to sneak into Ghost of Tsushima. We're here to help you sniff him out.
Ghost of Tsushima presents its players with an exquisitely designed open world – the island of Tsushima. As the staging ground for a battle between Jin Sakai and Kotun Kahn’s Mongol army, the island comes with a lot to do and so much to find.
For instance, the game has many hidden trophies for its players to unlock but leaves little to no guidance on how to achieve them. The Cooper Clan Cosplay Trophy is one such hidden gem in Ghost of Tsushima. Unlocking this trophy is a long process, requiring Jin to visit multiple locations spread across the second and third acts of the main story. However, knowing exactly where to go could save you a lot of time.
To Find What Can Never Be Found
The Cooper Clan Cosplay Trophy, a reference to another beloved PlayStation franchise, can be unlocked by collecting specially themed pieces of gear. However, with the game simply telling you to “dress up as a legendary thief” and little else, getting this trophy can be daunting.
SUGGESTED: How to Get Gosaku Armor in Ghost of Tsushima
For starters, you will need to collect Gosaku’s Armor, a reward for completing the Mythic Tale The Unbreakable Gosaku. With this armor equipped, you will need to dye it a specific shade while also collecting the Crooked Kama Head Band and the Sly Tanuki Sword Kit.
Equipping all of these items completes the Sly Cooper look for Jin, earning the trophy while also giving the Ghost a boost to his fashion sense. Is it even a victory if it’s not earned in style? It’s time to start collecting the items you will need for this trophy.
How to Unlock Ghost of Tsushima’s Toughest Trophy
The second act of Ghost of Tsushima leads Jin to the first piece of gear for the Cooper Clan Cosplay Trophy: Gosaku’s Armor. Finding Yamato the Musician in Akashima Village, Toyotama will allow Jin to learn about a suit of armor that the Mongols want.
As it turns out, someone locked it up and threw away the keys – six of them, to be precise. They are with the owners of Mongol-occupied farmsteads across the region. Visit each farm and let Jin do what he does best to free them, and each owner hands over a key to Jin. The farmsteads Jin needs to visit are as follows:
- Ohama Fishing Village in Tsutsu
- Aoi Village in Tsutsu
- Kuta Farmstead in Ariake
- Yagata Farmstead in Kashine
- Iijima Farmstead in Umugi
- Koshimizu Farmstead in Kushi
With all six keys in Jin’s possession, it is time to pick up the armor. Head on over to the Old Togo Rice Fields in Akashima. You can find it near Fort Ito and the Akashima Lighthouse. You will find a giant door between some mountains on the east side of the fields that shelters Gosaku’s Armor, with only a few Mongols standing in your way.

With the armor in tow, you will need to visit a merchant to purchase the Ocean’s Guardian dye for it, which changes its color scheme to match Sly Cooper’s signature look. Note that you can pick up the first four keys in Act 2 but can only take on the final two farmsteads in Act 3 of the main story.
Gosaku’s Armor with the Oceannic Guardian paint job is only one-third of your task, although the next two items are a little more straightforward to collect.
The Crooked Kama Head Band can be found in Jogaku Temple, accessible only in Act 3 of the main story. Jin will be able to spot a tall tower outside its walls so that he can use the grappling hook to scale it. The headband can be found on an arrow embedded in the roof, on the side away from the nearby lake.
Finally, it is time to grab the Sly Tanuki Sword Kit, which you can find at a well-hidden Pillar of Honor at Kamiagata in the story’s third act. On the east coast of Kin, east of the Trapper’s House, is a small rock ledge overlooking the ocean. Jin will need to bring his best climbing skills to the table to get to this one, but he can grab the Sword Kit from near the pillar.
With all of the items you need in your possession, it’s time to grab the Cooper Clan Cosplayer Trophy! Simply equip all of them on Jin, and the game should notify you of your latest achievement. But it’s about the journey, right?
