All Shinto Shrine Locations in Ghost of Tsushima
The Shinto Shrines in Tsushima may be hard to reach. But visiting them definitely makes Jin hard to kill.
Ghost of Tsushima changed the way we look at open worlds. With little to no bloat on screen, a gorgeous island to explore, and cleverly implemented dynamics driving Jin Sakai to his next objectives, it’s a game that is not just meant to be enjoyed. It’s meant to be relished.
What’s more, every location or collectible ties in meaningfully with the game’s narrative and progression systems, meaning that every side quest or activity rewards Jin for his efforts. The Shinto Shrines on Tsushima Island are a great example of this. Being the last samurai of his clan fending off a Mongol invasion, Jin looks for every advantage he can get. The Kami is ready to oblige, should he simply make the trip to its Shrines.
A Beautiful Moment in Prayer
The Shinto Shrines in Tsushima were once beacons of hope for the local populace. With well-maintained roads and torii gates to guide the way, the Shrines now stand in disrepair.
With the invasion limiting chances to tend to them, Jin must reach these Shrines the hard way using whatever tools he has at his disposal. But with some powerful Charms to be found at each location, it can be well worth the effort considering how they bring different passive effects and buffs to the game’s combat.
