How To Obtain All Classified Schematics in MW3 Zombies
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies have brought tons of activities and objectives to complete. As the celebration season is knocking at the door, games are more focused on giving players exciting rewards. Players can uncover Easter eggs in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies through missions and contracts, granting them exclusive rewards like Perks, Aetherium Crystals, and Schematics. Of course, the Schematics are the most valuable ones, especially the Classified Schematics. So, if you are confused about how to obtain all Classified Schematics in MW3 Zombies, keep reading this guide till the end.
Schematics work as a blueprint to craft the strongest in-game weapons, and Classified Schematics is one of the most desirable items in MW3 Zombies. Unfortunately, these are the toughest items to acquire as these can only be found inside the Dark Aether. But, before we proceed further, let’s take a brief look into what are the Classified Schematics.
What are the Classified Schematics in MW3 Zombies?
Classified items are introduced in MW3 Zombies to give players a heightened level of thrill and excitement. Season 1 of the game has three Classified items: Dog Bone, Aether Blade Case, and Golden Armor Plate. If you have played the previous COD games, you are aware of the Wonder Weapons and the Classified items are similar to them. They are the most powerful weapons and equipment to have in MW3 Zombies.
When the items are that powerful, naturally the acquiring process can’t be easy. The Zombies mode established this fact. If you are trying to find any of the three Classified items, let me tell you you must find their respective Schematics beforehand. Only they can help you add the item to your inventory. But the schematics will only be found inside the Dark Aether.

Once you enter the Dark Aether, now, let’s check the process to acquire these Schematics.
Dog Bone Schematic Location
Before we proceed and tell you about the acquiring process, let me explain why should you get it. The battlefield of MW3 Zombies is tough to survive alone. But if you are a solo player, you need a companion to accompany you in dealing with zombies. With Dog Bone, you can summon a friendly Hell Hound to help you deal with zombies, until its health bar finishes or get killed. Additionally, in multiplayer mode as well, you can summon the Hell Hound to revive your teammates. The Hell Hound revives its health when not taking damage.
The Dog Bone Schematic can only be found through Reward Rifts, but these are random spawns. If you complete one of the three contracts in Dark Aether, a Reward Rift will open and you will get Dog Bone Schematics. But which one will give it, is unsure. So, even if you find a Reward Rift, not necessarily you will get a Dog Bone Schematic.
Aether Blade Case Schematic Location
Aether Blade Case can be your best companion when trying to deal with a group of Zombies. Players can throw it toward any zombie, but the unique part is, that it will kill the other zombies around your target and get back to you. It’s a one-shot item that can replace all your lethal weapons.
Like the Dog Bone Schematic, if you are looking for Aether Blade Case Schematic, the process is the same. Once you enter the Dark Aether, complete the three contracts to get the schematic. But the chances of getting it is random. Each contract will open a Reward Rift to give you items, but we can’t assure which one will give you the Aether Blade Case Schematic. Also, completing contracts in Dark Aether is not a piece of cake, as the zombies are all level 4 enemies. So, the process will take time and a few tries.
Gold Armor Plate Schematic Location
Gold Armor Plate is another legendary item players can get in MW3 Zombies. This is an outstanding way of defense. Players can use it like other armor plates, but it stands out from others because of its self-healing feature. This armor plate heals itself automatically after getting damaged.
So, if you are looking for the Schematic to craft the Golden Armor Plate, let me tell you, the process is the same as the other two. Enter the Dark Aether and complete the three contracts. Any of them will certainly open the Reward Rift which will give you the Golden Armor Plate. Though, it’s tough, but, if you can complete all three contracts in one go, you will get all three Classified Schematics together.
Of course, if you can’t do that, you can get them separately by entering the Dark Aether again and again to complete the contracts. But remember, collecting all the schematics is not enough. Players must exfil with these safely to unlock crafting. If you collect the schematic and die, it won’t work and you have to repeat the process from the beginning. The exfil process is easy in the real world, but in Dark Aether, that’s more complicated than you can imagine. You have to locate an Exfil portal under the central fortress or at the top of the fortress.

Once you exfil, these schematics will automatically added to your inventory and you can craft respective items using them. Now, you can find them in the Classified section and use them to craft items using the Schematic Crafting menu.
However, the crafting process has a catch. Like the Wonder Weapons, there’s a cooldown time of 48 hours. To be precise, once you craft a Classified item, you have to wait for 48 hours before crafting the next one. So, you can’t randomly craft Classified items in MW3 Zombies.
