Bloodborne Remake Gets Teased One More Time by Industry Insider – Are Sony Looking to Capitalise on Elden Ring’s Popularity?
If one tries to find a unique and memorable role-playing game experience before Elden Ring, the immediate title that comes to mind is mostly Bloodborne, especially if you ask a PlayStation player. Indeed Bloodborne is a PlayStation-exclusive game, and to date, no other PlayStation-exclusive game has ever claimed its crown. Considering it one of the best gothic action RPGs by FromSoftware, players have been claiming a remake or remastered version for all other platforms. While this rumor is already in the air that FromSoftware is probably working on a Remake version, an insider came with a piece of new information for the community players.
Industry Insider Once Again Comeup With Some Hope of The Bloodborne Remake At a Time When Players Are Eagerly Looking For the Elden Ring DLC
Bloodborne is undoubtedly the biggest hit by FromSoftware, but in these nine years, the developers never showed any interest in any sequel or remake of the game. But a few recent posts by a renowned insider @Silknigth have provided players with some hope. In March 2024, someone asked him about the Bloodborne remake, and he replied to the comment saying “Certainly, the game will receive more than just a simple remaster, but it will take time.”
This comment initially created a stir in the community and players started hoping to experience something big. Just when the excitement went down a bit, again @Silknigth posted about Bloodborne and commented about its initial title Project Beast. It is a widely known fact that Bloodborne started developing under the name Project Beast in 2012, but later FromSoftware changed its name before release. Hinting at the nature of the developers the insider concluded his post saying, “The wait will be well worth it.”
It is a clear hint at the release of the remake version. But considering it was posted on April Fool’s Day, a fan asked whether it was a joke, but again enlightening the hopes of the players, the leaker said, “No.” However, there’s still no official news about any remake version of Bloodborne, instead, FromSoftware is currently focused on the upcoming Elden Ring DLC. They are expecting a lot from it.
Bandai Namco Has Fooled Players with a Creative Elden Ring Expansion on April 1
On April 1, people often play tricks on their friends or siblings, but this year the gaming community received several updates from different developers about renowned franchises which later proved to be creative pranks to fool them. One of the most creative ways was shown by Bandai Namco when they posted a video with the caption Elden Ring expansion.
Here, the expansion is the literal expansion of the title. If one starts the video clip, they will see the “Elden Ring Expansion” is getting expanded and going out of the screen. Initially, players believed that probably there’s some news about the DLC update, but as soon as they clicked on it, they got the trick. It was a well-played trick and players seem to have enjoyed it.
