Call of Duty 2024: Black Ops Gulf War Latest Leaked News Show Hopes of Getting Familiar Setting Back
Black Ops Gulf War is one of the most anticipated games of this season with millions of players waiting for it. Though the developers haven’t yet declared anything about this game officially, often leakers find secret information about the game. In every COD game, weapons and maps play a key role, and a recent leak by @MW3CODInformer shows that the upcoming game is bringing back old maps of the Black Ops series.
The X post says, “Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War will reportedly feature remastered maps from the entire Black Ops series!” The Black Ops series was one of the most successful Call of Duty series with several thrilling games. However, the report suggests that the maps that players have already experienced before will be remastered with modern graphics and features to fit the upcoming COD 2024.
The post doesn’t clearly state the maps that are going to receive the remastered treatment. The Black Ops series has multiple maps that received immense popularity, including, Nuketown, Hangar 18, Summit, Firing Range, Berlin Wall, etc. So, any of these maps can again be featured with some modified mechanism and better graphics to give players an intense battle royale experience.
This leak has separated players into different opinion groups. While a group of players are happy to have some iconic COD maps back; others are disappointed with it as they expect to get something new. However, it is not yet certain whether this will be the case or not.
Black Ops Gulf War is Reportedly Having a Far Cry-Like Campaign
Since the game was announced, leaks are frequently coming to make players aware of some interesting in-game features of Black Ops Gulf War. A month back, @WarzoneCenter posted some rumors about the game which included that this time Activision is adding an open-world campaign. Generally, the campaign mission of Call of Duty games is not set in the open world. However, exceptions are now taking place and Modern Warfare 3 Campaign missions have shown it. So, there won’t be any surprise, if Black Ops Gulf War follows the same path.
The twist is that, this time the report says, the open world will be different as it will follow the way Ubisoft designs Far Cry series worlds. They will probably create the map exclusively based on the story. So players can navigate through it and explore the story. However, all these are still rumors as there’s no official announcement from Activision about the upcoming game and the new content it will bring.
