Guilty Gear is one of the most popular Arc System Works series with a huge fanbase, but like many other games, this series also receives regular updates to implement changes.

Guilty Gear Strive frequently gets updates to add or remove in-game features. Toward the end of October, this game received the 14.0 update, which implemented certain changes that most fans didn’t approve. Therefore, within a month the next patch notes are released with improvements made.

Arc System Works brought the 14.1 update patch notes that have multiple points to draw the attention of fans. But what mostly attracted the attention are the fixes that the developer team has made after players complained about issues.

When the previous update 14.0 was released, players started reporting multiple issues, and among them, a lot was about errors and bugs. Precisely, a lot of changes that were made to certain characters during that update proved to be buggy.

Fortunately, the team didn’t ignore the complaints that fans made and addressed a lot of vital issues, like game-breaking, which caused Goldlewis’s Skyfish Gatling gun to give trouble with the camera on the wallbreak, and Chipp’s Tightrope Run to give trouble during matches are all fixed.

A few more broken things are also fixed. This list includes all characters being able to air-dash during the follow-up sequence after the homing jump, etc.

A New Mode Is Added to Guilty Gear Strive With This Update

Like almost every other update, the latest one has brought some new features to the game, and among them, the most highlighted one is the introduction of the Team Of 3 mode. Maybe Guilty Gear Strive is not among the most popular fighting games, but still, fans always wait for new game modes to try in this game.

Players can access this mode from the Main Menu, and this new mode allows players to form teams of three players, where one will be the main character and the other two will be assist characters.

This three-player team can participate in any fight, where the assist characters will help the main player with a range of skills. Players can tag out between main and assist characters in the middle of the fight.

This mode can be joined solo, and during the matchmaking process, the game will assign you two teammates to make it a team of three. There are even ranks that start from Iron and go up to Diamond, with each rank featuring three-star levels. In this mode, players can make room for a maximum of nine players to play or spectate.

Additional Fixes That Are Added to the Game to Make the Gameplay Experience Smooth

Aside from these, the developers have adjusted a few more things to make the gameplay experience smooth.

It fixed an issue with the chip damage system. Players reported that no matter how much increased attack and defense stat a character has, a glitch was preventing it from impacting the chip damage dealt or received by them but the update 14.1 fixed it.

The next thing that the patch notes reveal to be fixed is the cooldown time issue, where the repeated use of projectiles lessened the cooldown timer of Ky’s Stun Edge, Aerial Stun Edge, and Charged Stun Edge when certain conditions are met. The latest update fixed it.

A long list of other issues is also completely fixed by the developer team during the 14.1 update of Guilty Gear Strive to make things work as players have been expecting it to work.
