SUMMARY
  • Prestige levels are once again back in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, after Modern Warfare 3.
  • These levels are not easy to achieve, but one player did it with ease.
  • The most important part is that he did it with a strategy that no one ever thought of following in COD games.

Gunfights and kill counts define the Call of Duty franchise. Since the series was introduced, whether it is Modern Warfare or Black Ops, having good skills is a must to survive. However, a recent instance has proved exceptions exist, and even an intense first-person shooter game like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can be survived and players achieve new heights using a ‘pacifist’ strategy.

Since Black Ops 6 was released, gamers have dived into the game to explore all the new content, and during the exploration, it is hard to miss the Prestige system. This is puzzling and requires loads of grinding, but one player proved it can be reached without much effort.

If you are a veteran COD player, you must have heard of the Prestige system. This was previously added in Modern Warfare 3, Cold War, and Vanguard. Again, it has made its way into Black Ops 6. Now, if you are someone who hasn’t played any of these three games, you are probably confused about this system.

Prestige is basically player-level. It is not unlocked when you first start the game. It will be automatically unlocked once players reach level 55. Therefore, players need to grind a lot and require tons of kills to reach that specific level and unlock this feature.

Once you unlock Prestige, it will reset the player level; all the levels that players have unlocked will be locked again, and all the loadouts will be lost. However, in return, they will receive Prestige Levels in place of regular levels and the Prestige icon beside the operator name.

Currently, the game has 10 Prestige levels, which are not easy to unlock, especially without getting numerous kills. However, one player made it possible.

The moment the latest Black Ops installment was released, players have been praising the game for its quality. There are loads of things that require them to level up, just like other COD games and the Prestige levels are among the toughest.

While almost all the Black Ops 6 players are grinding to unlock Prestige levels, one player named Pilgore1 shared his unique strategy that helps him achieve these levels faster than most other players.

He posted about it on Reddit with a caption that said, “Pacifism will always be a legitimate strategy.” The levels that can only be achieved by killing tons of enemies in multiplayer mode, this player unlocked it without a single kill. That’s astounded the entire community.

When other players were all busy praising him, IGN interviewed Pilgore1 to know more about this ‘Pacifism’ strategy where he made this impossible thing happen. The Reddit post revealed that he had played 111 games, and the total playing time was 19 hours, 26 minutes, and 12 seconds. But the question was, how did he manage to get so much experience to reach level 55 without a single kill?

During this interview, the Redditor, whose real name is John, elaborated more on his strategy. He used to focus on objectives during multiplayer matches and call UAV, CUAV, and HARP scorestreaks after this equipment became available. He even shot down enemy scorestreaks but didn’t fire at enemy players.

With this strategy, he gained more experience in objective-based game modes like Hardpoint and Domination. Generally, he went with perks like Flak Jacket, Gearhead, and Dispatcher for these matches.

Now, the very obvious question is why he chose to do this, and the answer he mentioned is that it’s not the first time he did it. Previously, he did it in the Cold War, where he jokingly took a challenge with his friend to reach the Prestige level before his friend even if he had no kills.

Once he completed the challenge, he found it fun. He then tried this method again in Black Ops 6, and it worked out equally well this time. However, this requires loads of patience, as players will be killed numerous times during this process.
