- Alan Wake 2 is only a few days away from its first anniversary, and gamers received a great update at this point.
- The game will get an improved version on PS5 Pro, which once again highlights the superiority of the console.
Alan Wake 2 is undoubtedly one of the finest survival horror experiences released in recent times. The interval between Alan Wake and Alan Wake 2 was thirteen years, but this wait was worth it considering what players received from Remedy Entertainment. Now that it’s been almost a year since this massively popular game was released, Remedy is preparing for some exciting updates to celebrate the anniversary.
Additionally, it’s almost time for PS5 Pro to be launched. Since the console was announced, it has been claimed to enhance the PlayStation gaming experience to a new height. Even the trailers have shown the improved versions of many renowned titles, and Alan Wake 2 once again shed light on it.
PlayStation 5 Pro Is Going to Give Alan Wake 2 a More Realistic Aura
Since the PlayStation 5 Pro was announced, this console has gone through ups and downs for its high price and other things. Still, Sony was struggling to prevent scalpers from pre-booking the console. Despite some negative responses, this console has created a separate fanbase who is waiting to try its favorite titles on the advanced system.
While it has already been proved multiple times that advanced ray tracing gives games more realistic vibes, a recent clip for Remedy’s title with PlayStation 5 Pro’s ray tracing feature further establishes that fact.
The clip highlighted the visual difference between PS5 and PS5 Pro when the game is running in Quality mode. With advanced ray tracing technology, PS5 Pro makes the scenes closer to reality. Notably, the current PlayStation 5 version doesn’t have this feature in any Alan Wake 2 game mode.
Fans who are eagerly waiting for the upcoming console are immensely happy after watching these improvements.
Some of them called the performance of the game on PlayStation 5 Pro “class.”
After watching the clip, some gamers are massively hyped to try the game on the upcoming console for the first time.
The ray tracing feature has received enormous positive reactions from fans, and Remedy has shared more information about this feature in a recent blog.
The Alan Wake Sequel Is Getting PS5 Pro Advantages With All the Upcoming Features Supported
Alan Wake 2 has loads of updates to share with fans. As the anniversary is approaching, Remedy is ready to take the game to a new height. While the second major expansion of the game The Lake House has already been released globally on October 22, there’s more to come in the future.
According to the latest Remedy blog post, the Quality and Performance modes in Alan Wake 2 have been upgraded on the PS5 Pro. These modes use the new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution feature to improve the visuals of the game.
As part of this, the PS5 Pro version of the game will have ray tracing in the Quality mode at 30 FPS. However, the Performance mode won’t have ray tracing, but the game will run on 60 FPS.
The best part is the introduction of ray tracing, which will make the in-game world more detailed. Moreover, even during situations where the light is a little problematic, the graphics will be equally stable and appealing.
Another interesting fact is that the game will run on 60 FPS in Performance mode with 4K resolution and PSSR. The output resolution will be the same in the Quality mode as well.
