GTA 6 Should Include These 7 Unexpected Features
A new city means new faces to meet - and new activities for GTA fans to enjoy.
Rockstar Games is generating a lot of excitement among GTA fans, with GTA 6 set to be an experience that even its illustrious predecessor may not match up to. Fans of the franchise are eagerly looking forward to its latest installment, eagerly waiting for details on what they can expect from the game when it finally launches in late 2025.
While details are scarce about the game’s narrative other than its setting in Vice City, fans have already begun to pick apart its promotional materials for hints on what side activities they get to indulge in as they explore its vast open world.
While GTA 5 featured several of these activities that its players spent many an hour on as they ignored its story missions – a feature that any open-world game benefits from – the sequel is sure to build on that freedom of exploration and variety in its many activities. Here are a few activities that we think could – and perhaps should – appear in GTA 6.
7. High-Stakes Poker Games
Since 3-Card Poker featured in GTA 5 at the Vinewood Casino, GTA 6 could benefit from having Poker tournaments across Vice City to allow players to earn some extra cash, which in turn could let them kit their characters out as they go through the game.
High-stakes Poker tournaments could allow for some exciting matches and perhaps be a part of a few story missions as well, with in-game NPCs providing various rewards if the player were to complete specific objectives. Other casino games could also feature in the game, allowing for s a relaxing few hours away from the hustle of the city.
6. Live Concerts
Considering the excellent variety of satirical music and commentary from GTA 5’s radio stations, it would only make sense for GTA 6 to feature live performances that players can attend as a pastime and perhaps even meet new NPCs while they’re at it.

Since a trailer for the game already featured a concert in it, adding live concerts to its roster of activities could add for a fun diversion from its missions while offering up a chance for some truly memorable moments for its players to enjoy.
It’s also an opportunity for Rockstar Games to bring in some talented artists and musicians to create in-game music that could even be featured on the radio, adding a touch of realism.
5. Surfing
With Vice City enjoying a beautiful coastline, surfing could be an excellent choice for GTA 6 players with Achievements/Trophies tied to completing specific moves or braving harder challenges at sea. It could also provide an avenue for NPC missions involving the activity and be a way for players to unlock rewards or new content as they continue to participate in it.
Players could also unlock new gear or outfits that are suitable for the coast either through surfing rewards or through stores located near beaches that make the activity easier or simply look cool while they’re on the waves.
4. Improved Bounty Missions
While Bounty Missions could have been better implemented in GTA 5 Online, Rockstar Games could choose to fine-tune the activity in time for GTA 6’s release and give its players a chance to hunt down some criminals in Vice City for exclusive rewards while simultaneously earning them some goodwill with local law enforcement.
Bounty Missions could even tie in well with the main story if they are handled correctly this time around, allowing players to make progress by learning about antagonists by taking down their crew members or confidantes as they make their way through the city.
3. MMA Tournaments
With MMA becoming a very popular form of entertainment in the real world and protagonist Lucia’s criminal past, GTA 6 could be the perfect opportunity for Rockstar Games to feature live fights with the option to place bets on them to earn some extra cash in-game.

Like concerts, MMA fights could be a great place to meet new NPCs and even feature in story missions with players tracking down a target at one of them or trying to eavesdrop on conversations between important characters as the fight goes on.
2. Street Races
Since Vice City is sure to feature an extensive roster of drivable vehicles just like GTA 5 did, Lucia and her partner could take part in a few street races to earn cash, rewards, and potentially new rides that they can use.
GTA 6 could add a feature for local authorities to track specific vehicles that were used in races, requiring players to park them for a while before bringing them back out on the streets just like in Need for Speed Most Wanted. It’s an activity that could potentially find a lot of takers and fit well with the game’s overall narrative if Rockstar Games plays its cards right.
1. Fight Club
An underground fight club is nothing new to video games, with one being featured as early as Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and even Cyberpunk 2077. But a fight club would fit well in GTA 6 and would be a great side activity for Lucia to take on with increasing difficulty on a series of opponents making for challenging encounters that can push players’ skills to their limits.
It could also be a great option for Rockstar Games to add trophies and additional rewards for players to unlock with each fight as long as it is able to make those rewards appealing to GTA 6 players.
Whatever Rockstar Games decides to do with GTA 6, fans of the franchise are sure to fall in love with it all over again when the game is in their hands next year.
