Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2’s Lack of a Common Modern Gaming Feature Shows Gamers Are Spoiled
Despite multiple satisfactory announcements, a little dissatisfaction still remains.
Saber Interactive is preparing to release one of its most anticipated games of 2024. Though Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has been scheduled to be released on September 9, 2024, players’ excitement reached its peak with the glimpses they have already received. Still, a recent instance revealed they are not satisfied with what they are going to get.
In the modern gaming world, fans are spoiled with different gaming features, and it seems like they aren’t satisfied when one of these features is absent. Recently, Space Marine 2 was revealed to lack one of the most common features, and despite having some other exciting ones to cover it up, fans are pointing it out.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Revealed the Lack of a Common Feature in July Community Update
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has reached its final phase before its release. A few days ago, on Reddit, the developer confirmed that Sony and Microsoft have approved the game and that “we’ve been given the green light for the production of our retail boxes.” Therefore, it is confirmed that the game will not see any further delay.
However, along with this announcement, the developers decided to answer some of the frequently asked questions by fans, and in this process, they revealed that PC specifications haven’t yet been tested. The process is going on, and soon, they will release the recommended and minimum PC specifications.
While this answering process continued, eventually they answered that players don’t need to play Space Marine to start playing Space Marine 2, as these two games are different. However, a few repeating features will be there.
Up to this point, things were right, but the problem started when they said a straight no to pre-downloading the game before the release. Pre-download is one of the most common features in games, and even after several exciting announcements, this one has drawn the attention of fans.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Gets Into Trouble for Lacking Pre-download
Though players are still equally excited about the game and its gameplay, something cut the cord as the developer strictly mentioned the game won’t offer pre-download. Amongst all the other things mentioned, this offended fans, and they have started talking about it in the comment section of the post.
Someone expressed his surprise at the hard no that the developer has mentioned.
Another player followed the same path to mention that having no pre-load feature is odd for a modern-day game.
However, someone appeared to resolve the issue and expressed their opinion on the pre-download matter.
Well, there are several other confusions among players, and a few of them are puzzled hearing about the season pass.
Until the game comes, it is hard to say how it will perform or whether it will meet the hype it has created.
This upcoming game seems to have a loyal community at least; that’s what was revealed when the game went through leaks and the developers appealed to players not to spoil their years of efforts by playing those leaked builds.
