5 MultiVersus Characters You’ll Want to Unlock as Fast as Possible
From DC to Game of Thrones and beyond, MultiVersus' roster has plenty of heavy-hitters that stand out.
Crossover fighting video games like the fittingly titled MultiVersus have an advantage that not many others can benefit from, as they come with a diverse roster of characters that can bring in fans of numerous franchises and cater to various play styles all in one fun place.
Initially announced nearly three years ago, the Player First Games-developed title stayed in its early access and open beta phase for almost an entire year, but now that Warner Bros. Games has officially launched the full version of the game, it is crucial to know about the greatest fighters that it has to offer.
Divided into four main classes, MultiVersus features iconic characters from all across pop culture, and naturally, some of them deserve more attention than the rest of the roster due to their abilities on the battlefield.
Here are the five MultiVersus characters that you will definitely want to unlock as fast as possible to ensure that you always have the edge over your opponents.
5. Black Adam
The only reason why an extremely strong fighter like Black Adam is this low on the list is because it can take a while to get a hang of his powerful abilities, but once that step is out of the way, the ruler of Kahndaq becomes an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.

Falling into the Bruiser class and doing complete justice to it, the DC supervillain comes with a highly effective move set, not only for players who like to get up close and personal with their enemies but also for those who want to keep their distance during some parts of the fight. With a long-ranged special move called Atom’s Havoc and a brutal close-ranged one that showcases the Might of Kahndaq, there are not many that can stand against the mighty fighter.
4. Batman
Being a pop culture icon who truly needs no introduction, The Dark Knight is yet another Bruiser in MultiVersus who may not have the otherworldly powers of Black Adam, but he has more than enough gadgets to absolutely destroy his opponents. His Batarangs and Bat-Bomb alone can prove to be quite critical during any match, as players can keep hitting their enemies with the gadget until they get frustrated and make a mistake by coming closer to Batman.
That is when the special move Rising Bat comes into play, and combined with Bruce Wayne’s agility, the World’s Greatest Detective also turns into one of MultiVersus‘ best fighters.
3. Superman
For players who prefer a more defensive play style, there really are not many Tank characters that can rival the Man of Steel; it is literally right there in his nickname, as his endurance against most of the regular attacks that his enemies throw at him is quite effective.

Superman’s tough exterior is not the only element that makes him stand out in MultiVersus‘ roster, as his Ice Breath special move provides him with the opportunity to freeze his opponents from mid-range. Topping his abilities off with Meteor Liftoff, the fighter knows how to create some much-needed distance between him and the opposing force, making space for vigorous counterattacks whenever possible.
2. Arya Stark
Leaving the competitive world of Westeros behind and arriving at one that turns things up a notch, Arya Stark brings everything that she learned in Game of Thrones to MultiVersus, making her an amazing addition to the game’s roster. Accompanied by her trustworthy sword Needle, which has always been there to get her out of tough situations, Arya’s melee attacks prove quite fruitful during her encounters, allowing her to perform the Dagger Slash special move to send her enemies flying.
However, the highlight of this character is easily her iconic Face-Stealer ability, which lets her temporarily transform into her opponent, a move worthy of her Assassin class.
1. Bugs Bunny
There is a reason why the developers had to nerf the Looney Tunes mascot through multiple updates, but Bugs Bunny refuses to become weaker, as this Mage character and his projectiles keep the tides of the battle in his favor even when things sometimes start to go south. From straightforward explosives like rockets and dynamites to more creative ranged items like custard pie, the fighter has tons of weapons in his arsenal to keep the enemy occupied by whittling away at their health.
Bugs proves that there is no need to get close to danger if one can take care of the situation from far away, making him the best character on the MultiVersus roster, at least for now.
Now that you have a basic understanding of which characters you should be aiming to unlock while playing MultiVersus, it is important to note that all of these fighters require 3,000 Fighter Currency or 1,000 Gleamium to become available. With the best fighters at your disposal along with a few tips and tricks to smoothen your MultiVersus experience, taking on many of WB’s iconic characters should be a piece of cake, which is something Bugs would probably throw at his enemies too.
