Once you are in the location, you have to defeat another boss called the Putrid Tree Spirit boss. Once you kill it, the Spirit Ash will be yours.

Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff

Another legendary Spirit Ash that players should not miss. If you acquire this Spirit Ash, you can summon the spirit of Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff during crucial fights to get the situation under control.
