Call of Duty: Warzone’s Latest Operator Is Another Dead Character From the Campaign
Call of Duty is about to launch a new season with a dead operator and loads of surprises.
Call of Duty bringing a new season to add content to the games is something expected. Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are once again going to get loads of new content as a new season is about to come. While this upcoming season seems to bring multiple exciting features, it even announced the return of a character who died previously during the Modern Warfare 3 Campaign.
It’s already been nearly a month since Call of Duty Season 4 Reloaded launched for both games. So, naturally, players have been expecting a new season, and Activision has announced Season 5 with an engaging trailer. This trailer has shown almost everything that’s going to be added, including a dead operator.
Call of Duty Season 5 Is Bringing Back a Dead Modern Warfare Campaign Operator
Though most of the upcoming features look exciting, the appearance of Ivan Alexxeve as a Battle Pass operator has attracted players’ curiosity.
Ivan Alexxeve used to be the head of Konni, but most importantly, he was Makarov’s right-hand man who died during the Modern Warfare 3 Campaign. Precisely, he was executed by Nolan. So, his return to Season 5 has created a mixed reaction among players.
Mostly, they are making fun of the return of a dead operator. Someone mentioned that Call of Duty campaigns are jokes.
Taking a slightly different approach, another fan brought up Soap’s reference and opined that Battle Pass has nothing to do with the storyline.
Players even questioned the operator for having the Konni mark, despite Makarov disowning him.
That’s only a part of what Season 5 is bringing, but there’s a whole bunch of new additions that are hard to miss in the trailer.
Season 5 Has Loads of Surprises to Explore and Experience for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Players
Scheduled to be launched on July 24, 2024, the upcoming Call of Duty season has teased a lot of new things to be excited about. First, the girl who appeared at the start of the trailer may seem familiar to players, as she is Valeria Garza, who is the leader of the Mexican drug cartel called Las Almas. During her previous appearance, she was found to work with Konni. However, this season, she will be a part of KorTac.

Along with her, two new characters will make their way to the game: The Reckoner and Mami. Aside from these new operators, the season is bringing several new maps, including Bait, Yard, Celship, Toonoxide, and Ink House. All these are 6v6 maps.
Even Urzikstan is getting new points to explore, named Superstore Point of Interest, Superstore Resurgence, and Supreme Resurgence. However, the most interesting part of this season is the Slam Deathmatch game mode, where players need to eliminate opponents using WWE finishing moves. Three WWE superstars are also joining the games this season: Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, and Rey Mysterio.
The wait is about to end for players to get the season to experience, but until it arrives, make sure to check how Xbox hasn’t been promoting the beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, while PlayStation is already on it.
