Space Marine 2’s Leaked Build Shows the True Feelings of the Fans as They Show Support for the Developer
After the pirated version of a Space Marine 2 build appeared, Focus Entertainment is trying to save its years of efforts with the help of fans, and they have agreed to wait.
Warhammer 40K‘s upcoming installment, Space Marine 2, has created immense hype among players about the gameplay and the storyline. The various updates that Saber Interactive or Focus Entertainment have been sharing are enough to blow their minds. Piracy, however, has recently messed things up a little bit.
A website has released a playable build of the upcoming game, which has made the developers upset about their plans for Space Marine 2.
A Pirated Space Marine 2 Playable Build Emerged: Focus Entertainment Released a Statement
Piracy is one of the most problematic parts to deal with when creating something original. Piracy websites are always ready to leak some important update, news, or trailer to ruin the excitement. A similar thing happened to Space Marine 2 when a playable build of the game was leaked on a piracy website, almost two months before the official launch of the game.

Reportedly, this playable build was around 75GB, and it seemed to be the complete version of the game, offering what the actual one would bring. Initially, players were confused about what was going on, but Focus Entertainment acknowledged the leak of the build and shared its view through an X post.
The statement it has released confirms that the leaked build was a year older. It reads,
“We’re saddened that this build, which will be almost a year old by the time we launch, is how some of our most eager fans will first experience Space Marine 2.”
So, the French video game company has requested fans to avoid playing this unfinished build and wait for the original game to be released, as the developer has put all its hard work into delivering the best possible experience to the audience.
Expectedly, fans have responded positively, and they agreed to wait for the official launch of Space Marine 2 to experience the game.
Space Marine 2 Gets Complete Support From Fans to Fight Piracy
Loyal fans are one of the best things a game can expect, and Space Marine 2 seems to have a faithful fanbase. Though initially, fans were upset and confused about the leak, since the official statement came from Focus Entertainment, they have agreed to wait for the game and experience the gameplay once the official version comes.

In the reply section of the X post by Focus Entertainment, fans have expressed their reactions.
Another player said it’s baseless to ruin the experience by playing a leaked version.
Players even expressed that they were initially disappointed after seeing the leak and that they were ready to support the team.
Some players mentioned that they didn’t see the leak and are still hyped for the game.
This support from players shows their willingness to experience the game. Hopefully, the developers won’t disappoint players.
However, while waiting for Space Marine 2, don’t miss a feature that Helldivers 2 players find useless and demand to be removed.
