“Why don’t we have a mission…”: Helldivers 2’s Missing a Mission It Constantly Teases
Creative ideas are usually welcomed in Helldivers 2.
Helldivers 2 has been going through ups and downs since it was released. Aside from bugs and glitches, the game has shown different types of issues throughout these months, and players not getting missions according to their expectations is probably one of the most frequent complaints Arrowhead has been facing for months.
This co-op shooter game was one of the most hyped games of the year, and to some extent, Helldivers 2 has matched the expectations of the fans. However, the game still has lots of troubles that Arrowhead fixed later, except for the mission issues. Once again, the community members are disappointed with the game.
Helldivers 2 Community Again Got Disappointed With the Game, as One of the Most Creative Missions Hasn’t Yet Come
Controversies are a regular part of Helldivers 2. Whether it is the in-game bugs and errors or the toxicity in the community, players often take these issues to social platforms to discuss with others. Similarly, a recent Reddit post expressed a fan’s disappointment about not getting the mission that Arrowhead has teased.
The Helldivers 2 community is thoroughly creative, and it loves to dive into unique missions that go beyond its regular activities. In the reply section, another player came up with an answer to this question, saying that this mission would soon come as his Democracy Officer had informed him. Along with that, he also informed that this will probably be an Automaton objective.
When it will come has not yet been revealed. Whether it will really come is another big question here. However, despite all these controversies and issues, Helldivers 2 has recently secured a big achievement.
Even After Arrowhead and Sony Made Loads of Problematic Decisions to Annoy Players, Helldivers 2 Received a Great Honor
It’s time for the Helldivers to celebrate. After the massive success of the original game, the sequel is now setting a benchmark with its prestigious Best Game Design accolade at Develop Awards 2024. On July 11, Arrowhead and Johan Pilestedt posted about receiving the award and thanked the entire team and community for their support.
Though fans have tons of complaints about the in-game mechanisms, most of them seem to be happy about this achievement and congratulated the team. This achievement meant a lot to the team because the game fought against Baldur’s Gate 3 to grab the award.
Almost every community member unanimously agreed to the point that, despite the imperfections, Helldivers 2’s design deserves the honor it has received. Well, still, Arrowhead failed to please everyone. Some players are finding faults even after the win, and they pointed out how a large number of players have already quit playing Helldivers 2.
The toxicity of the players is nothing new in the Helldivers 2 community. It has been going on for a long time. Fans even asked for a report button to stop in-game abuse. So, the developer has to cope with that and progress forward.
