“Nobody playing this”: Even With Incredible PlayStation Plus Offer, Everyone Is Still Hating on Concord
Concord has made players disheartened to an extreme point where they clearly say no to the game.
Sony has opened a box of surprises for its players, especially PlayStation Plus subscribers. PlayStation has a long list of upcoming games, and, of course, Concord was among the most anticipated ones before the official trailer for the game was released during the PlayStation State of Play 2024.
For players who are unaware of the event, PlayStation State of Play once again disheartened players, but most importantly, the trailer for Concord started getting dislikes after its launch. The primary reason behind these dislikes was the similarities of this upcoming 5v5 multiplayer game with Overwatch and Destiny 2. A recent instance proves this hate remains among players.
PlayStation 5 Players Are Still Unwilling to Accept Concord for Its Similarities With Other Renowned Titles
During the entire cinematic trailer launched at the PlayStation State of Play event, Sony revealed interesting characters, intense fights, and unique weapons, but none worked to raise the height of the game as fans instantly recognized the similarities. Since then, they have been expressing their unwillingness to play the game.
However, Sony probably hasn’t thought of them boycotting the game, but that’s something that happened. A recent X post by PlayStation revealed about the Concord Early Access Beta, which will be live this weekend. While the post has invited PlayStation Plus members to join the event and pre-download the game, fans seem to be uninterested in this matter.
In the reply section, a user commented that no one is going to play the game, and surprisingly, other PlayStation 5 players agree with him.
Continuing the same tone, another player said they’re passing this opportunity.
Another player reached a new height, saying Sony couldn’t pay them to play this game.
Players are even assuming that because not many gamers preordered this game, Sony is giving this chance to PlayStation Plus users.
Most players are reacting in a negative tone and disagreeing with pre-ordering the game, but for gamers who are still eager to try this game out, the early access details are all given.
What Players Will Get if They Pre-order the Game This Weekend
Concord Early Access Beta will start running on July 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. PDT, and will continue until July 14. The pre-orders for the game will start on July 11. If players pre-order the game during this time, they can experience the game earlier than the official open beta scheduled to run from July 18 to July 21. However, this chance is exclusively for PlayStation Plus members.
For players who are not PlayStation Plus subscribers, the pre-order chance will come on July 17, 2024. Moreover, as a PlayStation Plus member, if you order the game this weekend, you will not only receive the chance to experience the gameplay earlier, but you will also receive four codes that you can share with your friends and gang up together to grind the game.
During the Early Access weekend, the game will provide players with the opportunity to roam around four maps of the game: Freewater, Star Chamber, Water Hazard, and Shock Risk, to beat enemies. Additionally, they can experience three game modes named Cargo Run, Clash Point, and Trophy Hunt, along with all 16 playable characters.
This chance is indeed something that players shouldn’t miss, but we can’t say what will happen when it comes to Concord. Whether you are interested in playing Concord or not, we recommend you not miss out on how Xbox has disappointed fans with its Game Pass re-structuring process and price increase.
